Schaltbau’s trade show at the InnoTrans in Berlin is all about innovative solutions for rail vehicles. One of our highlights is the IntelliDesk: an innovative communication and wiring concept which enables easy system integration within the driver’s desk.
The different components such as master controller, pushbuttons and displays can be connected via a fieldbus box and communicate with the train control and management system (TCMS) via a central master interface. Furthermore, the IntelliDesk has pleasant haptic properties and a modern design.
There are also new developments in the connectors and contactors range. The new UIC-IT NG series connector delivers CAT7 data speed needed for modern digital applications and complements existing models in the UIC-IT series, which have proven themselves in the field for many years.
With the CP series Schaltbau is introducing a newly patented solution for arc-handling. For the first time the universal devices can be configured as NO/NC contactor, disconnector or changeover switch.
Under the motto “The Smart Evolution of Mobility” Schaltbau GmbH together with the companies within the Schaltbau Group will show their latest solutions for rail transport on a shared booth (102) in hall 2.2.
